The Afrika scented candle is made in glass decorated with a silkscreened print in black and 9-carat gold. The design features large spheres in which African scenes unfold in the tradition of tribal drawings. The flame shines through the glass and its movement brings to life the small African scenes of the silkscreened print. Its woody fragrance of cashmere wood, clove and guaiac wood adds a festive air to your home.

Expertise: 9-carat gold serigraphy on glassThe screen-printed design of the Afrika candle was inspired by the tradition of paper cutting, which forms picturesque scenes via shadows. While the Swiss mountains are a common themeof this paper-cutting technique, we wanted to create African scenes where savannah, baobab trees and African animals come together in an original composition.

Always let the candle burn until its surface is totally liquid. This step can be long, especially during the very first burn. Once the wax is totally liquid, you can let the candle burn for a maximum of one hour. The layer of liquid wax should never exceed one centimeter in height. Never exceed the maximum burning time indicated on the instruction label, nor let it burn to the end. Systematically keep a centimeter of wax at the bottom.
